Power Contracts Bulletin Board

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Order No. 719 requires ISO’s and RTO’s to dedicate a portion of their website for market participants to post offers to buy or sell power. ISO market participants can view, post and modify requests to buy or sell power and resource adequacy contracts, including substitutions.

As required by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the bulletin board is made available through the California Independent System Operator (ISO) website for market participants to buy or sell on a long-term basis.

As a condition of your use, you warrant that (i) all information supplied by you on the bulletin board is accurate, current and complete, and (ii) you agree to be responsible for any use of your account by anyone whether authorized or unauthorized.

Further, you agree that any content you post will not constitute, encourage or provide instructions for a criminal offense, violate the rights of the other party (including confidentiality restrictions), or otherwise create liability or violate any local, state, national or international law, including without limitation, the regulations of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the American Stock Exchange (ASE) or National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation (NASDAQ). The ISO takes no responsibility for any content posted, stored or uploaded by you or any third party or for any loss or damage. The ISO has no obligation to screen, edit or modify the content posted, the ISO reserves the right to screen, edit or modify any content based on its sole and reasonable discretion, without notice. Any offers or bids posted on the bulletin board do not represent binding obligations on bidders and offers until said entities enter into a bilateral agreement for the same outside of the realm of the bulletin board.

The ISO is not responsible for any content posted by users of the bulletin board, nor does it provide any representation or warranty regarding such content. ISO does not endorse any specific vendor or vendor posting. All trading communication that occurs as a result of postings occurs independently of the ISO.
