Additional Validated Project Sponsor Applications for the Harry Allen - Eldorado 500kV Transmission Line Project
The California ISO posted an updated list of project sponsors whose applications for the Harry Allen - Eldorado 500kV Transmission Line Project it has deemed valid. The updated list includes two applicants that submitted a joint proposal following collaboration. The ISO will next consider whether these project sponsors and their applications are qualified and then will select which qualified sponsor will finance, own, construct, operate, and maintain the Harry Allen - Eldorado 500kV Transmission Line Project.
The ISO previously posted to its website the list of project sponsors whose applications for the Harry Allen - Eldorado 500kV Transmission Line Project satisfy the information submission requirements and are valid, in accordance with phase 3 of the transmission planning process. Following this posting, the ISO received a request from two of the applicant project sponsors to pursue collaboration. These two applicants successfully completed the collaboration process and submitted a joint proposal. Thus, the list of validated project sponsors has been revised and is available at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/UpdatedListofValidatedProjectSponsorApplications-HarryAllen-EldoradoProject.pdf.
Pursuant to section 126.96.36.199 of the ISO Tariff, the ISO has validated this joint proposal for further consideration and evaluation in the project sponsor qualification and selection process. The ISO evaluated this application based on information submitted by project sponsors to finance, own, construct, operate and maintain the Harry Allen - Eldorado 500kV Transmission Line Project.
