Logical Meter Calculation Transparency Enhancement: Business Requirements Specification Posted
The California ISO posted a business requirements specification (BRS) on its Logical Meter Calculation Transparency Enhancement for market participant review. This companion document explains the business requirements for upcoming Logical Meter Calculation (LMC) transparency change described in the PRR1102 draft Settlements and Billing Configuration Guide.
The ISO’s LMC process will provide additional transparency for ISO market participant dynamic system resources (non ISO-polled) by providing LMC Allocation Factors used to determine the 5-minute settlement interval meter value as a bill determinant. Allocation Factor bill determinants become available for settlement dates on or after Jan. 1, 2019.
Additional information is provided in a forthcoming update to the Settlements & Billing Configuration Guide (as described in the PRR1102 draft).
