Ancillary services
Ancillary services certification is required for participating generators and participating load to bid ancillary services. The Ancillary Services Certification Test Request Form, procedure and process flowchart are available through the links below. Contact the Ancillary Services Test Administrator at

with any questions.
ISO Tariff
Reference: Sections 8.3.4 Certification and Testing Requirements, 8.4.3(a) Ancillary Service Capability Standards, Part A of Appendix K - each generating unit and system unit that submits bids or self-provides ancillary services must be certified and tested, and Appendix X (Dynamic Scheduling Protocol) - each dynamic system resource offering regulation must comply with this Protocol.
