On May 01, 2013 the ISO implemented a real-time dynamic competitive path assessment that uses actual market conditions to identify uncompetitive transmission constraints that require exceptional dispatch to resolve them. The same process was implemented in the day-ahead in April 2012. In addition, a set of default path designations was established for use should a dynamic competitive path assessment fail in production. — FERC approval: Apr 29, 2013; Tariff amendment filing: Feb 21, 2013 (ER13-967) ; Board of Governors approval: Dec 14, 2012
